We are telling UK Members of Parliament that human farming of other animals is damaging our planet. If you have a UK MP, please help us. Tell your own MP about the environmental benefits of a move away from animal farming.
Members of Parliament want to hear from their own constituents, and they want to know your own thoughts. (Please only use this form if you are a UK resident or eligible to vote here. If you’re not, click ‘like’ at the bottom of this page instead!).
Some thoughts to help you get started (but please don’t just copy and paste, you need to use your own words, thank you!), Check our Briefing Document too:
- Human farming of other animals is in the top three causes of all major environmental problems, from local water pollution to global climate change.
- In the UK, it takes just one third the fertile land, fresh water and energy to grow a well-planned plant-based diet as is needed for the typical ‘meat-and-dairy’ based British diet.
- The UK is a world-leader in a viable alternative, stock-free farming. This helps farmers enjoy economically viable livelihoods and care for the British countryside.
The UK has three vegan MPs, Cathy Jamieson, Chris Williamson and Kerry McCarthy, who are helping us.
